About Head Staffing
We founded Head Staffing in January 2008. The main reason at the time was our previously acquired fascination about the temporary employment industry with all its associated dynamics and the continuous interaction between people.
Our first customer was a meat products factory, which fortunately is still our customer today. This customer in the meat products also sparked interest in the food industry, which is characterized by erratic production volumes and the battle for 100% food safety against short and long best before dates.
The dynamics and culture appeal to me. Over the years, several factories in, among other things, the cheese and meat products industry have become and remain customers.
In order to understand our customers even better and to be able to assist them firmly, we have also added several colleagues from the food industry to our team.
People who know the ins & outs of the sector and are able to select and retain the right flex colleagues for our customers.
A conscious choice
In 2018 we made the conscious choice to offer a large number of our flex colleagues a permanent contract. Today, 90% of our flex workers have a permanent contract.
This means continuity for our employees and our customers. Looking back, perhaps the best decision we have made since 2008. Since last year, as part of our integration plan for our foreign employees, we have created an attractive incentive package for this group for local housing (on our own initiative with the help of Head), including a Dutch course.
We have deliberately built a company that values diversity. All our flex colleagues have one thing in common; they enjoy working in food and all speak English or Dutch, as communication is essential in this industry. This diversity also reflects all our colleagues in the operation and in the office.
Together with this great team, we combine our passion for food with our passion for people.
