How does Head Staffing assure that my earnings are paid in the correct manner?

Head Staffing pays specifically according to the CLA from the company you are working for. This goes for your hourly wage, shift- and overtime allowance, travel expenses and when applicable extra cold-working-environment-allowance.

How does Head Staffing contribute to my professional career growth?

Head Staffing invests in training for our temporary colleagues. This varies between Reach truck, EPT and on the job training in order to become a fully trained operator. We also provide Dutch language courses.

Does Head Staffing accommodate me in my housing needs?

Head Staffing has different houses and locations on holiday parks. Off course; everything is according to the Dutch SNF (the National Institute for standardization of flexible living environments) standard, but we always strive to offer more than that.

On arrival you will receive a new [pillow and blankets if needed. At least every two weeks all houses are inspected to ensure a comfortable living condition. Your personal contribution in terms of tidiness and maintaining a clean living space are made clear by regulations that apply for each individual living space.

General information about your surroundings is also available in your new home.

How does Head Staffing provide housing?

Head Staffing has different houses and locations on holliday parcs. Off course everything is according to the Dutch SNF standard, but we always strive to offer more. On arrival you will receive a new [piilow and blsankets if needed. At least every twoo weeks all houses atre inspected to ensure a comfortable living condition.

Does Head Staffing provides transport?

Holland is a bicycle country. Head Staffing tries to provide housing within biking distance.

We can provide a new bike for € 120,- that will be deducted in terms from your salary. Off course you can also by your own bike (www.Marktplaats.nl. Bike is fiets in Dutch).

If you live more than 10 KM away form work Head Staffing will provide in auto transport.

When do I get paid my salary?

After each ending of a week, we will pay your salary on Wednesdays, depending on your bank you will receive the amount on Fridays the latest.

May I go on vacation while working for Head?

Off course you may go on vacation! You earn on average two paid vacationing days for every month that you work fulltime.

A total of 25 days per year. You need to plan your holiday in advance though.

Please consult you flexcoordinator as early/soon as you can, though not later than 2 weeks in advance. You may plan your holiday after receiving the approval from the flexcoordinator.

Will I be insured for my basic medical needs?

From day one, Head Staffing will guarantee you a contract for a 30 hour per week minimal. (You will be able to work more than 30 hours, so yes you have a guaranteed income.

In case of shorter offers from your stationary employer (the place you are used to work regularly) Head will always provide an alternative job, but always in the Food sector.

Will Head provide me with a guaranteed income on weekly basis?

From day one, Head Staffing will guarantee you a contract for a 30 hour per week minimal. (You will be able to work more than 30 hours, so yes you have a guaranteed income.

In case of shorter offers from your stationary employer (the place you are used to work regularly) Head will always provide an alternative job, but always in the Food sector.

Is it mandatory to get a travel insurance to the Netherlands?

It is not mandatory, but if something happens before you start working and you don’t have a travel insurance no costs are covered, so we recommend you to have a personal plan before traveling to the Netherlands.

Does Head Staffing help to get me the necessary sofi number/BSN (Personal Dutch tax number)?

You will arrive at our office where you shall be welcomed by our recruiter(s) who will offer you offer a beverage.

After a brief identification- and documents check, you will receive extensive explanation about Work, housing, transport and more. You will then continue finishing your official employment registration. Oftentimes you shall be requested to make and pass an online test related to information about work. After that, we shall go through and sign your contract together. We then will make all necessary arrangements for BSN, Insurance and more (if you do not have them) We then will determine where and when your first shift will be.

After everything is done you will brought to your home (if you don’t have your own personal accommodation of course).

What happens on the first day of my arrival in the Netherlands?

You will arrive at our office, after a welcome and coffee / tea. You will get a further explanation of the work, we will finish registration and contract check documents and often ask you to make an online test. After everything is done you will brought to your home (if you don’t have your own location). You will be informed where and when to start.

At what time does a shift start and end?

This differs per factory. Most of our clients work in a two shift cycle between 6:00 and 22:00 or 7:00 and 24:00. Some clients work round-the-clock in a three shift system.

What the minimal period that I am expected to stay working for Head?

Head Staffing is looking to employ colleagues for a long period of time. That’s why we will provide you with a fixed contract after 7 months of working with us.

So in general we look for people who want to work with us for at least a year or preferably longer.

Will I be participating in a pension plan provided by Head Staffing?

A pension plan will be set up for you after 6 months of employment according to the national temp CLA regulations.

What bank account do I need to have?

For fast and secure payment any European euro account will do.

Is it possible to work part-time / one shift / only on weekends?

Part-time availability is only excepted if you are in possession of your own private accommodation and transport. When available to us: we will try to offer you a suitable position.

Do I require to possess English language skills?

Absolutely. Being able to speak English is mandatory when working for Head as we see communication to be our most important process.

This is also important to safeguard the safety and hygiene regulations at our clients working stations.

Am I entitled to and when will I receive my holiday allowance?

You are entitled to 8,3% Holliday allowance which for some people is paid at the end of May and for some weekly.

How long should I work after handing in my resignation?

Depends on your agreement but always for a minimum of 2 weeks.

The exact possible terms of resignation shall be pre-determined between you and our recruitment officer before you agree to a contract with Head Staffing.
